If anyone knows me, Disneyland is my favorite place in the world. I’m always planning for my next trip to the happiest place on earth. If I could live at Disneyland I would. I even want to get married there (if that ever happens). So to show my love of Disneyland and also for this week’s Top 5 Fave, here are my top 5 favorite rides at Disneyland.
1. The Haunted Mansion
I love this ride so much! I remember the first I went on the ride when I was little I got so scared in the beginning part in the elevator. Now I love it, and I can ride it over and over again. Continue reading
I’ve been in a music mood lately and since I’m creating a playlist post for this week, I thought that this week’s (late) T5F post will be all about my favorite movies about music.
1. Jersey Boys
The story of four young men from the wrong side of the tracks in New Jersey who came together to form the iconic 1960s rock group The Four Seasons.
I absolutely loved this movie and it definitely exceeded my expectations. Going into it I thought it was going to be another cheesy musical type movie, but it was more about the Four Seasons’ story as a band with performances/recordings of their songs throughout. I also really liked that they used some of the guys from the Jersey Boys musical. John Lloyd Young was my favorite singing-wise, and Vincent Piazza was my favorite acting-wise.
With all this talk of a Full House reboot and the majority of MK&A’s TV & movie catalog airing on Nickelodeon starting April 27th (so excited), I thought this week’s Top 5 Fave post would be all about my favorite Olsen twin movies. I was and still am a fan of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. They were my idols growing up and I owned just about everything they came out with whether it was their movies, books, dolls, clothes, etc. If they created it, I bought it. I hope one day to own something from either of their collections, The Row and Elizabeth & James. Anyways, on to the movies!
1. It Takes Two
For some reason I remember this being the first Mary-Kate and Ashley movie I saw. I had their other movies on VHS, but this one I vividly remember wanting to see. It’s basically about two girls, Alyssa and Amanda, who look alike and are the complete opposite. They decide to switch places at an attempt to stop Alyssa’s dad from marrying his girlfriend. It’s really a cute story and still a movie I enjoy watching (even though I’m 25)
Hey friends, I’m so sorry for last week’s Top 5 Fave post being late! I had family over like everyday over the weekend and I’ve been working nonstop so I wasn’t able to make the post by Friday. Better late then never though right?
Since The Avengers Age of Ultron is coming out soon (counting down the days) I thought this week’s Top 5 Fave would be Avengers themed. I’m a huge Avengers fan and I’m so excited to see this movie! I absolutely cannot wait for this movie to come out! I did have a hard time narrowing my list down to only 5 though and I also hard a time not picking all Captain America items…
1. Marvel Leggings ~ $11.99 (Orig. $24)
I just ordered these yesterday to wear specifically when I go see the movie with my friends (I’m sure it’ll probably embarrass them, but I don’t really care) I’ll probably do a little post on them once I get them and let you know how they are.
This week’s Top 5 Fave post is going back to the 90s with my top 5 favorite 90s movies!
1. Clueless A rich high school student tries to boost a new pupil’s popularity, but reckons without affairs of the heart getting in the way.(x)
One of my all time favorite movies and I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of it! It also started my crush for Paul Rudd. Pretty sure I have every line memorized. As a kid I didn’t understand the majority of it, but watching it now I can’t believe my mom let me watch it. (RIP Brittany Murphy) Continue reading
I’ve been on a nostalgia kick lately and I’ve been thinking about how much I loved the Disney Channel back in the day. The shows/movies really were so much better back then. Disney really needs to create a channel where all they show are DCOMs and past Disney shows like Even Stevens, Bug Juice, Flash Forward, etc. So for this week’s Top 5 Fave Friday, I’ll be sharing my top 5 favorite DCOMs. (btw, if anyone knows of a place to watch these movies, please let me know!)
Andy “Brink” Brinker and his in-line skating crew–Peter, Jordy, and Gabriella–who call themselves “Soul-Skaters” (which means they skate for the fun of it, and not for the money), clash with a group of sponsored skaters, Team X-Bladz–led by Val–with whom they attend high school in southern California. When Brink discovers his family is in financial trouble, he goes against the wishes of his parents and his friends and joins Team X-Bladz. Brink tries to lead a double life but will be able to pull it off? (x)
My all time favorite Disney Channel Original Movie! I had such a crush on Erik Von Detten. This movie also made me obsessed with rollerblading for a while when I was a kid. I’ve been desperately trying to find this movie and I can’t seem to find it anywhere (for an affordable price anyway). Continue reading
Even though I didn’t know him personally, I was extremely sad when Paul Walker passed away. He seemed like such a down to earth, cool and caring guy. And he didn’t seem like your typical Hollywood actor. He didn’t just act, he also worked with his organization that he formed with a few of his friends called Reach Out WorldWide (ROWW*). It’s a “nonprofit rapid response team committed to providing critical aid to those affected by natural disasters & humanitarian crises.” It’s really amazing with everything that they do. I really recommend checking it out.
Anyways, since Furious 7 comes out next week (so EXCITED!) and since it’s also Paul Walker’s final movie, I thought I’d make a post of my Top 5 Fave Paul Walker movies. I’ve been such a huge fan of his since I was 11 (so for about 14 years now) when I first saw Meet the Deedles.
A father struggles to keep his infant daughter alive in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. (x)
This is one of my favorites of his because this movie is basically carried by Paul the entire time. It really showed how good of an actor he could be. This one definitely made me cry.
Since I’m super bored and I want to procrastinate on cleaning my house, I thought I’d create a post of my top 5 favorite Disney movies!
A wealthy woman leaves her vast fortune to her four cats: the well-bred Duchess and her kittens, Berlioz, Toulouse, and Marie. Jealous butler Edgar, eager to get his mitts on the cats’ legacy, abandons the felines in the French countryside. The four lost kitties are aided in their efforts to return home by the raffish country pussycats Thomas O’Malley and Scat Cat. (x)
The main reason why I love this movie so much is because it’s all about cats and I’m a weirdo who loves cats. (I have 2 of my own) I also find it hilarious that a guy feels threatened by these cats and wants to get rid of them so he can get Madame Adelaide Bonfamille’s fortune once she passes. My favorite character has to be Marie because she is totally sassy and confident.
Since I’m a huge fan of anything Disney, I just love about any item of clothing or jewelry that has anything to do with Disney. Since our trip to Disneyland is hopefully coming up, I’ve been in a big Disney mood and looking for fun and cute Disney items to wear either to our next trip or just to wear in my everyday life. Here are my top 5 Disney Fashion Finds.
