Today I made a trip to Walgreens because I heard that E.L.F. Cosmetics came out with a new Disney Princess Makeup Series featuring Belle and I wanted to check out my local Walgreens to see if they had the collection. It turns out they do, and they have another makeup collection titled Dare to Dream featuring Ariel, Pocahontas, and Mulan!
Here’s a not so great picture of what’s available in both collections:
A couple of months ago, I entered a Design a Bow contest by Mickey Waffles Bows. If you won, you got the bow you designed for free along with some other goodies. I thought this was such a neat idea so I to enter for fun and wasn’t really expecting to win. Well, I found out that I got honorary 4th place! I was super excited since I normally don’t win anything and there were a lot of great and beautiful bow designs I was competing with!
Along with my bow design I got free shipping on my order with Mickey Waffles Bows. I was excited because I had been eyeing some of her bows for a couple of weeks and to get free shipping on an order is a pretty awesome deal! I purchased the order in April and didn’t receive the bows until about the first week in June. Even though it did take a while, it was well worth the wait. I’m in love with my bows and I seriously want to plan a Disney trip just so I can show them off and wear them to the park! The bows are really beautifully made. Here are the bows that I ordered:
Captain America (winning entry)
Marie (Aristocats) Mini Bow
Peter Pan Mini Bow
After getting these bows, I definitely would love to order more! I’ve been eyeing the Mary Poppins, Bert, UP, and Jack Skellington ones. I may have to order them for my birthday in a couple months! If you would like to check out Mickey Waffles Bows on etsy and order some for yourself, click HERE.
I’ve been slowly personalizing my work space slowly but surely. I want to make sure it’s perfect and exactly how I like it. I wanted something that I can keep some materials in. I got these little jars as a party favor from a baby shower last year and thought these would be perfect to hold little things like paper clips, tacks, etc. *Note: The jar in the first image is not the jar I ended up using for this DIY project

I’ve never done an OOTD post before so I thought my first one could be for the outfit I plan on wearing to the Avengers premiere this week. I bought these Avengers leggings (which I mentioned in an earlier post) last week along with the black tunic from Kohl’s (online). It’s a very comfortable outfit and I love any chance to wear a fun pair of leggings! I also can’t get over how much I’m loving this shirt! I wish I could wear it everyday and I now want to buy it in white. The sandals are super comfy and they’re my favorite pair of shoes that I own. They’re sadly no longer available since I bought them last year, but she does have different ones available that are a nice alternative to the ones I own.

Last weekend I went antiquing and I got a new desk to do my work on. I’ve already got it set up and decorated it a little to how I like, but I wanted a little something extra. I also wanted it to be Disney themed of course, so I scoured Pinterest for some ideas. I’ve seen people decorate letters to hang up in baby rooms, offices, etc. and it’s something that I’ve always wanted to do, so I decided this would be perfect project and super easy!
- Letter of your choice
- Mod Podge
- Paint Brush/Sponge Brush
- Scrapbook paper, fabric, etc. of your choice
- X-Acto Knife or Scissors
Hey friends, I’m so sorry for last week’s Top 5 Fave post being late! I had family over like everyday over the weekend and I’ve been working nonstop so I wasn’t able to make the post by Friday. Better late then never though right?
Since The Avengers Age of Ultron is coming out soon (counting down the days) I thought this week’s Top 5 Fave would be Avengers themed. I’m a huge Avengers fan and I’m so excited to see this movie! I absolutely cannot wait for this movie to come out! I did have a hard time narrowing my list down to only 5 though and I also hard a time not picking all Captain America items…
1. Marvel Leggings ~ $11.99 (Orig. $24)
I just ordered these yesterday to wear specifically when I go see the movie with my friends (I’m sure it’ll probably embarrass them, but I don’t really care) I’ll probably do a little post on them once I get them and let you know how they are.
Today it was announced that Lauren Conrad will be doing another Disney collection exclusively for Kohl’s and it’s all inspired by Minnie Mouse! I absolutely love Lauren Conrad’s clothes! The majority of my wardrobe is all Lauren Conrad and since I love Disney, I was super excited to hear that she was going to be doing another Disney collection. I really liked her Cinderella collection, but by looking at the Minnie Mouse collection I think I may love it even more. The collection features Minnie’s signature polka dots and bows and ranges in price from $36 to $68. While you (and I) try to wait patiently for the collection to hit online and in stores at May 10, here are some photos of Lauren Conrad wearing some pieces from the collection. My favorite piece so far is the Minnie Mouse printed top!
I’ve been on a nostalgia kick lately and I’ve been thinking about how much I loved the Disney Channel back in the day. The shows/movies really were so much better back then. Disney really needs to create a channel where all they show are DCOMs and past Disney shows like Even Stevens, Bug Juice, Flash Forward, etc. So for this week’s Top 5 Fave Friday, I’ll be sharing my top 5 favorite DCOMs. (btw, if anyone knows of a place to watch these movies, please let me know!)
Andy “Brink” Brinker and his in-line skating crew–Peter, Jordy, and Gabriella–who call themselves “Soul-Skaters” (which means they skate for the fun of it, and not for the money), clash with a group of sponsored skaters, Team X-Bladz–led by Val–with whom they attend high school in southern California. When Brink discovers his family is in financial trouble, he goes against the wishes of his parents and his friends and joins Team X-Bladz. Brink tries to lead a double life but will be able to pull it off? (x)
My all time favorite Disney Channel Original Movie! I had such a crush on Erik Von Detten. This movie also made me obsessed with rollerblading for a while when I was a kid. I’ve been desperately trying to find this movie and I can’t seem to find it anywhere (for an affordable price anyway). Continue reading
The other day I went to the Hallmark store in search of a certain Disney mug and was so happy to find it! I absolutely love the Disney section they have at Hallmark. I plan on buying everything they have for my office/work. They even have an awesome Star Wars and Lennon & McCartney section as well.
Here’s my awesome mug. This may be my regular coffee mug for a while.
